Making a donation or bequest to the Galvin Library is a lasting tribute and puts essential resources into the hands of this and future generations.  Thanks for thinking of us! All donations to the library are tax deductible.

IIT faculty and staff may request library borrowing privileges for a spouse. The faculty member must have a faculty-level position. Staff members must be full-time employees.

Borrowing privileges for the spouse will be good for one year, renewable annually, or for the duration of the faculty/staff appointment if less than one year.

The individual spouse will be responsible for any circulation activity occurring under these privileges, including usual and customary charges posted by the Galvin Library for overdue  fines, replacement cost for  books or other library materials, and processing fees.

Circulation. The loan period for most works is three weeks.

You may also request books and articles through interlibrary loan. Please note that any charge to Galvin Library associated with the ordering of books or articles will be charged in full to the patron. Recalls and holds apply to all materials  borrowed.
