Library Catalogs and Books



IIT Library Catalog
Use the IIT Library Catalog to search for books and journals held by Galvin Library and IIT's branch libraries. View your own patron record at "My Account" to see all IIT items, as well as items checked out from other libraries through I-Share.

 I-Share
Use I-Share to search the catalogs of 65 libraries that are part of CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois). IIT students, faculty, staff, and other eligible patrons can use I-Share to to request or renew books from the 65 I-Share libraries.  

Note: IIT students attending classes on the Main Campus may not submit requests for items available at Galvin Library but may submit requests for items located at the Biegler Library on the Rice Campus in Wheaton.

Journal Holdings
Journal Holdings is a list of electronic journals currently or previously subscribed to by the Galvin Library. Once you have found a journal citation, search  this list to see if we carry the journal you need.  Or, search for all print journal subscriptions in Voyager.

Books 24x7 is a database of more than ten thousand online, full text eBooks in the IT field from more than more than 80 publishers including AMACOM, John Wiley, MIT Press, and Microsoft Press. You must be a student, faculty, or staff member of IIT in order to access Books 24x7off campus.
