Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum
Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution is the only museum in the nation devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design. Their website includes content related to current and past exhibitions at the museum and the Educator Resource Center.

This section covers the principles of ecological design, and information about the Ecological Design Institute's publications.
Steve Lawler, Interactive Media
Iranian-born Steve Lawler created a visual playground exploring ideas on interaction, typography, photography, sequential design and sound. Lawler's site opens with a pack of cigarettes that transforms into an asthma inhaler and pumps every time you click on it: each "pump" reveals a different section of his web site.
